RYCKMAN, Rena – at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on May 24, 2018, Ada Lorena Ryckman, nee Henderson passed away peacefully just two days before her 95th birthday. Beloved wife of the late John David Ryckman. Loving mother to James (Jean) and to daughter-in-law the late Janice. Proud grandmother to Meredith Ryckman, Laura Ryckman, Suzanne Schmitchen (Glenn) and Brent Humphrey (Karen) and great-grandmother to Colin and Kelly. Predeceased by parents Irving Henderson and Margaret Laura Fletcher and siblings Jean Culver (Wilfred), Evelyn Richardson (Murray), Carlyle Henderson (Mable), Ray Henderson (Mary), Edith Paterson (Howard) and Marion Howe (Lloyd). Special thanks to Riverview Gardens, Chatham 3rd Floor East. Visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, June 1 at 11 am. Reception to follow. Interment Oakland Cemetery, Delaware. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
