Obituary

Rick (Richard James) Fysh

Unexpectedly at home in London on August 4, 2024, age 69.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Maddison Fysh; sister Mary Jane (Bill Comiskey); nephews David (Jeffrey Starr), Colin (Olivia), and Ian.

Predeceased by his parents Richard and Dorothy Fysh and sister Janet Rotenberg.

Rick, a loving and devoted father, cherished his family deeply. He found daily joy in teaching music, cooking, and conversing with his daughter Maddison. His inspiring presence touched everyone he met. Rick’s sudden passing leaves a profound void, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Rick’s love for music extended beyond his family; he was a mentor and teacher to many aspiring musicians, sharing his passion and knowledge generously. Conversations with Rick were always enriching, as he had a unique way of making everyone feel valued and heard. His legacy of kindness, wisdom, and creativity will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know him. Rick’s spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, a testament to a life well-lived and a love well-shared.
