Obituary

BARON, Robert L. – Peacefully with family by his side at Parkwood Hospital on Christmas Day, 2020, Robert Louis Baron of London age 73. Beloved husband of Karen. Loving father of Kimberly (Jason Walters) of Thamesford, Stephanie (Jason Isabel) of Ilderton, and Andrew (Lubna) of London. Cherished grandfather of Abigail, Jack, Emmalyn and Colton. He will be fondly remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Randy (Lenna) Whyte, Darryl (Dixie) Whyte, Ken (Colette) Whyte and Nancy (John) Carson, as well as many nieces and nephews, and cousins out west. Bob was born in London, Ontario, attended school here and graduated from UWO. He worked for London Life Insurance Company before joining the HR Personnel Department of UWO until retirement. He was very involved with the London Presbytery, serving as Moderator and New St. James Representative until 2020. Bob enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his Lake Huron cottage for many years.
