SERVICE

A memorial service will held at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, on Wednesday, March 13 at 1 pm, with visitation preceding from 11 am to 1 pm.

Memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Breast Cancer Society of Canada would be appreciated.

Obituary

ROBINSON, Shane Robert – Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, Shane Robert Robinson passed away at University Hospital in London, Ontario on March 9th, 2019 at the age of 47 years. Loving husband and best friend of Elena (nee Forte). Son of Robert and Dianne Robinson (nee Koebel), brother of Shelley and her husband Marco Pappalardo and uncle of Cassandra and Isabella. Survived by his uncle Bernie (Cathy) and his aunt Patricia (Massie) of California. Also survived by his son Thomas Robinson. Son-in-law of the late Silvio and Francesca Forte. Survived by: sister-in-law Diana DaSalva (Joe), children Josh, nieces Alicia and Makalya; brother-in-law Vince Forte (Michelle), children Cassandra, Abigail and Madison; brother-in-law Rob Forte and children Haylee and Hayden.

We would like to thank Katie Cameron S.W., Dr. J. Mandzia (neurology) and from the Palliative Care Unit, Wendy McEwen and Dr. R. Johnstone, Dr. S. Koivu. Dr. P. Dwek – I.D. and Krystin, Evon and Anu from O.T. Team 1. Dr. Eyers, Dr. Gob, Dr. Appleton and Dr. Goldszmidt and all other doctors involved in Shane’s care. A special thank you to the Palliative Care nurses who brought Shane great comfort and compassion.
