DAVIS, Shannon – With deepest sadness we announce the passing of Paulette Shannon Davis. Shannon was born in Kingston, Jamaica, in 1966 and immigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1970. Her loving husband Paul Charpentier was together with Shannon since 1992, after meeting in Waterloo, Ontario. She is predeceased by her loving brother Clyde in 1996 and father Cardinal (De) Davis in 2002. Her mother Calmeleata Davis and sisters Hope Campbell and Winnifred Davis live in the Toronto area. She leaves behind many loved nephews and nieces, and two god children George and Joseph, with whom she was especially close. Shannon had special memories of her studies at Dawson College in Montreal and Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario and a Masters degree at University of Western Ontario in Business and Economics. Shannon joined the IT revolution in the late 90s while working at several companies in Ontario in the field of Computer Programming. She recently went back to school pursuing a Masters degree in Software Engineering. She loved travelling, her family, friends and neighbours, watching the Blue Jays, mystery novels, scary movies, the Muppets, horses, and yoga. She was described as a “gentle Christian soul” who will be sorely missed by all those her life touched. Private service at Harris Funeral Home.
