Obituary

JOHNSTON, Susan – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice with family by her side on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, Susan Marie Johnston, nee Helm of London age 86.  Beloved wife of the late Tom.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children Michele Stokley and her husband Scott MacLean of Camlachie and Brent Johnston and his partner Alex Reid of Waterloo; and grandchildren Paige, Cory, Beatrice and Lucas; and great-grandchildren Lincoln and Nikko.  Dear sister of Michael Helm and his wife Barbara of Ottawa and the late Nora Boldt and her husband Ed.  She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Susan loved gardening, dogs and sweets. She also enjoyed her neighbourhood where she had lived for over 60 years.  She especially loved her family, who brought her so much pride and joy.  Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.
