Obituary

MARKS, William Gerard (Billy) – With great sadness we announce the passing of Billy Marks, age 67. Husband of over 40 years to Janet (Murray) Marks. Predeceased by his son Jason (2015) and daughter Karli (2020), his parents William and Francis (Doucette) Marks, sisters Maureen (Gerry) Griffin and Patsy Marks and his brother Danny Marks.  Besides his wife he leaves behind his grandson Jordan Marks-Duncan and granddaughters Julia and Ellisa Marks. Also survived by his sisters Judy (Tom) Wilkins and Janine Daley of New Brunswick as well as a number of cousins and his nieces and nephews whom he thought the world of. Billy was born in Saint John N.B. on June 9, 1955. After living on the east and west coast he settled his family in London in the late 90’s and spent the remainder of his years, up until his retirement, working for the Labour Union Local 1059 with a number of years at the Bruce Nuclear Plant. He will be remembered as an avid New York Giants fan and an entertaining storyteller by those who knew him.
